Just watched this on the BBC player, its about Joint Enterprise Law. controversial, anyone else watched this?

There are questions about the legitimate use of that part of the legal system, but not in the way he portrayed it (the lad would never have been charged just for giving someone a lift), and there are a lot of reasons why it should be the case that a group of people involved in an incident should bear some responsibility for the actions of individual members of the group when they are acting together.

Yes, a lot of working class kids get banged up as the result of joint enterprise but thats largely because many of them who get convicted go out in gangs and do bad things.
