Nope.

How many years have the British public been sending £20m+ a year to Africa? What massive sweeping changes has all that money made? How long are we expected to keep doing it? This is on top of the billions of pounds of aid that the taxpayer sends already.

Call me cynical like but there are hundreds of thousands of people in Britain, struggling day in day out to make ends meet, pensioners eating dog food because their state pension makes them choose between staying warm or eating properly. Single mothers working three jobs to support their kids.

Still, it's a good opportunity for C-List celebrities to spend one day out of the year looking like good role models to the public. Maybe if they donated out of their multi million pound fortunes as well as imploring us to give up hard earned cash, I'd be more inclined to do so.

Grandson wore the Beatles red nose shirt in nursery. I'm ok with that. Even if it was red
