Pick your scapegoat for tomorrows papers.
Who will get the blame for this years abject failure.

thought Rooney was englands best player, tried to take responsibility and press forward with confidence, unless right on top of their game, sturridge and sterling will waste more than they create, and wellbeck LOLBound to be Jags. JT would of got done by both them goals tonight but a word would not have been said!
As for wazza, how ever good he is for utd, he doesn't do it for England... I'd argue he'll be even less effective in 2yrs time at 30yrs old. Time for the bench for him. Build the team round the youngsters!
'Wayne Rooney has become the striker with most minutes played in the history of the World Cup without scoring a goal (750)'
Shocking.

I agree on Ross, he was better than any other player in the warm ups, and shown less faith, with any tiny mistake being over put under huge scrutiny, pretty sure Sterling gave the ball away a fair bit, but if a player as talented as Ross does it, its the first excuse not to pick himDon't get me wrong thought Rooney was pretty good last night, tried his nutts off. But ultimately he's put in to be our Suarez, our worldie, our player to pull us through and time after time he's proved he ain't that player for England.
So due to that he shouldn't be the player we're trying to accommodate at all costs. England missed a massive trick not suprising the world with Barkley!
