Got a couple of good pairs of shoes that need some repair. Tried Timpsons and the like, 'kin hopeless.

The best one is this, I've used him for years and he's top notch, a proper cobbler and very reasonable prices.

Wrap duct tape around your shoe. Has served me well for years.

Don't scrimp on the cheap tape though, people will know and they'll talk.

Have you tried unplugging them at the mains and plugging them back in again ?
