I'm 23 yet hardly ever go out now. Between 17 (if I was lucky enough to get in) and end of Uni two years back, I went out every week spending upwards of £50. I don't have much spare money so what I do have goes towards the holiday pot as I'd far rather explore the world than be stuck here.

Fair enough, but don't forget the old quote, life is what passes you by whilst you're making other plans. I spent a year saving really hard for travelling, and whilst the trip was amazing, I had spent a year in an amazing city (London) and did absolutely naff all with my time when I could be experiencing some great nights out. Got to keep a good balance.
