I see the club or more accurate the board's PR machine has rolled out the big guns in an attempt to defend their (I mean the board and commercial management's) position.
BBC Sport said:
Tim Cahill backs Everton sale of Mikel Arteta to Arsenal

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/14886567.stm?

Thats after Derek Hatton, Andy Gray after Robert Elstone came out with his own statement along with unnamed "friends of bill kenwright" making comments to ESPN..... now Tim Cahill...

It says alot that Tim Cahill's been wheeled out to have something to say.

I'm annoyed that this board are continuing to spend more time on PR campaigns and crisis managment then actual commercial development.

aka the Annex.

Blue Union are a bunch of teds.

Allowing Derek Hatton to make any kind of statement on evertonfc.com was typical of the poor judgement of the commercial staff at the club. They're teds too.

Just get on with the Annex please. If you spent half as much time doing "stuff" instead of pointless PR we might of actually had it up by now. FFS.

We also might be making more money - as we should be - than we are.

Don't be ridiculous. BBC Radio Merseyside interviewed Tim Cahill and asked the question, as expected and he gave his answer.

Nothing to see here.

Oh come on. Company line versus Personal line. And its defo the "Company" line

Prompted by PR rep. Obviously.

Just a shame they didn't go to as much effort on getting the Annex up and marketing it too.

You know. Worthwhile, money making PR.

This is about inappropriate PR. So its appropriate to have it's own thread.

But you keep with the off topic posts all you want. They're irrelevant anyway.

Yeah. By the board.

Anyway, i'm off to seek attention by posting in big letters, writing in bold different coloured letters and repeating myself over and over again.

Beggars belief.

The Club being criticised for an interview BBC Radio Merseyside conducted - of which, the BBC Sport website quoted.

Nearly as bad as criticising them for the BBC filming Kenwright during a match...

Nothing to see here. A post match interview, where you'd expect the independent interviewer to ask Tim his thoughts on the protest/departure of Arteta. Cahill gave his opinion on his best mate in football leaving.

It seems anyone not in favour of the protest is being viciously targeted. Sharp, Moyes, Cahill.... no one is safe.

Pathetic.
