I am most likely being heavily biased, but if Dempsey is apparently "transfer listed" I think he would be a good addition to the squad. He was great for Fulham, in good form for the national side, and it probably anger a few of the RS.

depends on his wage...if he is at a decent wage for a squad player then maybe.

and also transfer fee...

I don't think either would be at a viable amount for us to consider.

One of the promoted teams should snap him up, he's got plenty if goals left in him. We can't really justify bringing in another 30 year old player for a big transfer fee though. Any other players we get in should be 26 or under IMO.

Another player getting to the end of his career, its a definitely a no from me.

We should now be looking to sign younger players that have at least 5 years in them before they start getting slow and they're game starts depreciating.
