Resigned before sacked I would think.

Roma have been utter cr*p recently, losing to Shackhtar and then losing 4-3 to Genoa today despite leading. Jumped before pushed.

A messed up situation though, Totti is an even more badly behaved and far more disruptive version of Raul, for the health of the club he should be bounced out of the club asap.

edit: though of course he still has 3 or 4 years left on his eight million euro a year contract, and five guaranteed years as a director after that
