Elton
I guess thats why they call us the Blues.

the owner of that banner had it at vicarage rd last week, got it as his avatar on twitter
I have acquired a copy of the cd , they use at Goodison. Here we go , forever Everton , z cars . Etc . Ive spoken to the manager of the crock of gold near Wembley , he's going to play it . The pub will be rocking !

Mentioned this on a previous thread - think we should sing We're on the march with Howards Army next week - doesn't really fit with Bobby's army this year does it? Be very apt in the year of his death and possible final v Watford the day before his birthday.Sounds great on the vd at the end, give us oldies some happy memories and that belief we had back then!
Wembley are going to play , I guess why the call it the blues . So
Am led to believe.

Guarantee the fans will be up for it Saturday, let's hope the players are. I'm just hoping the players are going to be motivated by the fans as opposed to martinezs tactics. We can win this. United are nothing special and if we play half as well and show the same passion, work ethic and skill that we showed at home against city and Chelsea in the cup then we will win. COYB.

Absolutely great scenes - and this is just pre-match on ITV! Hope we give the team a reception as good as this on Saturday.

Absolutely class , was along that route , when that famous Eavesway coach passed me by . I wish and hope all our young blue fans can sample days like these . Let's put are problems behind this Saturday. And give our blue boys the same reception. And I'll be singing, we're on the march with Howard's army . Hope we beat the mancs and play Watford in the final . COYB

Bob , I'll join you singing for Howard. Adored the man

ive recently rooted out my fa cup t.shirts. which i wore for wembley.1984 & 1986 and my original 1986 flat cap.( i was 15) .My boy be wearing it for Wembley on Saturday.
Mini , same here , I am reclaiming my Everton white 1985 Rotterdam track top back from loaned out . Was Gary Stevens original... Hafnia on the back .. Every time I wear it .. We win ..

Heart warming stuff that.

When football was amazing, fans and players connected.

God I hope we win this cup, it will truly change my life I mean it. As a 32 year old who has had my teenage years/twenties free from trophies it would just be the best day of my life apart from the birth of my two daughters.

Nerves are gone.

My ticket only arrived on the Friday in the afternoon post, neighbours brother in who'd moved up to Newcastle talked his mate into not going and we got them sent down last minute, they were for in the Watford End in the pen next to the tunnel & had Brighton & Hove Albion stamped on the back. We went in our end with them no problem though. Travelled down on Eavesway cos they're the local coach company that took us to all the games & when I rang to say we'd got our tickets she told me that if we'd travelled anyway they'd have sorted us out somehow.

For the Milk Cup I went down to cancel cos I couldn't get a ticket and she went in the till to get the refund, as she plonked it on the counter it was there in front of me a match ticket, me & my mate were dancing round the office with her, I dont know how many times she did that to lads that day but she was buzzing off the reaction and the kisses she was getting. For the replay we were just told to book & not even bother messing about getting tickets as they'd all be sorted ...and were, all seems a bit Oh Aye so thats where they all end up but tbh they ran about 4 coaches & had everyones names, it was the same people every time as well so majority would qualify anyway and they'd tell us all to book before anyone else could anyway to stop folk booking just for the tickets & regulars missing out.
Major regret for me was Rotterdam as was on YTS & just couldnt afford it, when Sheedy scored & ran over to the touchline and they all pile over it was all the lads off the coach.
