Be a shame if that did happen and we lost our 4th spot, and our neighbours finished in 4th

A very late goal knocked our best best for progression out last night. Most seasons the go pretty close to the final so its not too far fetched to bank on chelsea being one that ups the points.

Arsenal normally progress as winners so therefore up the points there.

And if united finish 4th at least then expect them to throw money at the team to maximise their potential.

So it is not hard to think next season could potentially leave us with 3 teams in the knockouts still ( man city enjoy being knocked out it seems)

Wins and draws are worth the same, but you get a lot of bonus points for being in CL.

4 points for the group stage, 5 points for the Round of 16

Meanwhile, Europa League group stage gives 2 points, and nothing extra for making the knockouts.
