Trophies

Messi - Ronaldo
8 leagues to 5
5 cups to 3
4 CL to 4 CL

Olympic gold to Euro Championship

Messi played in a World Cup final, 3 Copa America finals, Ronaldo 2 Euro finals, the second for 15 minutes.

So Messi scores more per game, assists more per game, has won more trophies, and is two years younger. All that and he's a genius.

It's a silly debate.
