City Away - Pubs?

First time at City Away in the away end for a couple of years.

Any decent pubs around the ground 'away friendly' or is a few pints in the City Centre the best bet?

Could do with a quick exit after the match - can previous visitors say how long after the game City keep the Away fans in the ground?

Last time I went, City didn't even keep us in the ground.

Don't keep us in normally,its a f*cking sh*th*le around there mate,best bets probably the city centre,we usually just go straight in have a quick bevy in the ground and then get away ASAP!!!(cracking stadium though!!)

Never been kept in after the match. Heard talk there might be a social club a bit of a walk from the ground but it's in the middle of nowhere so you're best of in town to be honest. The ground is in easy walking distance from there or a quick taxi journey.

The area around the ground is rough, city fans are scumbags based on my based experience so the city centre is probably your best bet.

Stick to the pubs in the Piccadilly area,there's plenty of choice.
25 mins walk to the ground

some of the pubs are ok around the ground, i dont wear colours so have never had a problem.
they know your sousers but they dont say nothing.
the pub is called the townley. not far from the ground.
