Talking to a good mate of mine who's been a fan of Citeh for many years, he says that other than the obvious Man U games this season, their next biggest games will be vs Everton and they're already eyeing 24th September.

The thinking from them is that if they can finally do us good and proper, it really will mean they're ready to start thinking seriously about winning stuff.

In a depressing time for us, it's quite comforting to know that we're still getting under the skin of the Moss Side chavsters (at least until the 24th September)...

They have spunked money every year and we still take points of them, I have no doubt we will again this year,

A squad assembled in less than two years with millionaire nut jobs and wantaways isn't much match for a team scrapping for every blade of grass.

No matter how bad things got living with the kopites I always used to think that at least we weren't City having to live under the shadow of United. Im still shellshocked they have a new stadium, endless riches and have overtaken us in everything but history.

To be fair to him and to City, they SHOULD have smacked us around good style with the money they've spent and the personnel they've acquired compared to us.

At least they realize that they know they need to win the matches against teams like us (not top four) to have any chance of winning the title.

I don't have any problem with their thought process at all.

It's one I wish our players took to heart yesterday.

Not us then. :|

Does this mean we should be fuming and obsessed over West Brom and be really keen for the game against them if we ever want to have a chance of coming top six?

Somebody raised a good point yesterday on talksport and said that we struggle against lower opposition because we are so poor at breaking down a crowded defence, something which is not present against the likes of City and Chelsea. I still think we'll take 3+ points off them.
