Complete head case but oh boy, what a guitar player and the inventor of rock n roll. Grew up with his music -two of my Dad's heroes gone in the space of a couple of weeks - Alex Young and now Chuck Berry.

Absolute legend. Electric guitar would never be like it was now if it wasn't for him. The god father of rock and roll. Took what the piano could do and did it with a guitar!

A genuine true legend. Gutted I missed him in Liverpool a few years a go.

I was brought up to the sound of his records as a kid, as my mum loves him.

Hated his music when growing up tbh, as it used to be on non stop in the house.

Only appreciated how good he was when I got older.

My mum is proper gutted.
