Do you get a real one or a fake one?

And when do you put it up?

We just got our first fake one. Usually always get a real one. But £40 a year or £45 for one that will last loads of years?

Think it's going up next weekend.

Christ.

I'm bah humbug and I'm an atheist so really don't celebrate christmas, however the missus is like a little kid so i have to put up with it. It's a fake one then you can use it over and not have pines in your feet.

It's not up yet if i had my way it would go up on 24th and come down on 26th but no doubt it will be up soon

We've got a fake one, be arsed with hoovering up pine needles every ten minutes.

We buy a real one from B&Q on Christmas Eve for 2p and put it in the garden though.

Fake. Azurri is anti-blert for some reason.
Always mean to get a real one but never quite get round to it. Trees aren't allowed up in our house till after December birthdays.

Love the way all your posts now include the "we" word. Quite sweet really.

Fake.

Used to get a real one when I was younger but we just have a fairly small fake one now. For a couple of reasons Christmas is celebrated in a fairly low key way in our house now! Still make the main room look nice and festive but nothing 'over the top'.

We've had real ones, but now it's fake, real ones start off looking great, but ends up looking not so great. We usually put it up after the son's birthday, so about the 6th December.

I can't believe you lot all have fake trees. All because you can't be arsed hoovering?

Plus, the fake ones look gash. AND they take an eternity to assemble/disassemble and they still leave small bits of plastic needles on the floor.

The smell of the real ones is the smell of Christmas. Come on people, live a little.
