Christmas tree

Have seen Christmas trees and decorations up already.

FFS it's November. We're going to end up with a quarter of the year dedicated to Christmas at this rate.

I know we've had a terrible year, but putting the Christmas stuff up early isn't going to change anything, and Christmas won't arrive sooner.

Has anyone gone early, and if so why?

I've already put my decorations up for Christmas 2021.

I noticed lots last weekend. Far more than usual at this stage. I dont really blame people, if it makes them happy then go ahead.

Noticed it for the first time today, house by ours has got lights round all the windows and tree up.

I've called crimestoppers and told them it's a drug den so hopefully their joy will be short lived when their door gets kicked in.

I'm going to because I had to skip Christmas last year due to a surgery. I'm not a huge fan but my mom was and I try to pretend I like it because I miss her.

Taken a day off on thursday to put up all our decorations,its been a crap year so if it lifts the mood abit then why not.

Lit up like Blackpool in mine but the neighbours think we are scrooges as we have no lights up outside.

Simply because im scared of heights and wont be getting up a ladder to put any up. Would feel too emasculated to get the missus up there whilst I dry the dishes the builder living next door would piss himself laughing at me so I aint giving him the satisfaction.
