The rain, it raineth every day
Apart from the obvious - lying, what are yours ? Just been to the shop and passed a garage who offer hand washing of cars. I've hardly ever seen it been used but today there's large queues. Is this a Christmas tradition for owners of cars to impress relatives ?

When I used to go to midnight mass they had to employ bouncers to stop all the pissheads trying to get in. In the spirit of Christmas, tidings of puke and fighting curtailed.
The last time I went to midnight mass it was an all ticket job and there were touts selling theirs!!!

Think it’s more to do with actually getting time. For me at least

Mine recently has been avoiding both sides of our family because I can't be arsed with them and telling my bird not to bother with presents cos I'm not arsed but secretly fuming all day that she took it literally.

I counteract this with a line and a glass of champagne at 8am before taking the dog out for a walk.

Works for me.
