Unfortunately this year I will be mostly biting my lip at my Tory boy brother-in-law whilst getting gently sozzled.

Mum's house, one of two brothers there, chilli & a curry on the go so mum can spend more time boozing with us in the pub than pissing about with a turkey.

I bet you do.

I’ve missed two out of the last three xmas with being deployed but this my first xmas out the military so will spend it at home.

I endeavour to help people less fortunate than me over the next few years. Like you said, it’s great self satisfaction knowing abit of your time is making someone else’s much better.

Get on the booze early, then you have an excuse if it all goes wrong.

We usually get Indian food with my patner's parents (her mom is Parsis), which is great, since I the traditional fare--meat, potatoes, vegetables--is kinda boring.
