They're shaking?

My area's had an earthquake everyday since New Years day, reckon the mountain's going to blow its top ffs.

how long since it last did? I was told that you get all the rats etc leaving the mountain due to underground heating up, usually after multiplying due to being snug, when it gets too hot they head down the mountain. An early sign apparently, and those insane fellas in tinfoil with thermometers on the rim.

I'll keep an eye out for legions of rats running past my house like.

About 1820 or something like that, and it goes off every couple of hundred years....

sound scary, rats earthquakes not a good mix

Quakes, Volcano's and Towns aren't a particularly good combo, especially a snow capped one as well. It wont be Lava that causes the immediate damage it will be the Lahar as all of the melted stuff heads down the mountain taking rocks ice etc, like a tidal wave down the mountain rivers.

I remember seeing a vid of a researcher on the top mt Ruapehu and as the thing started spitting rocks out they were landing all around him. It was a nice sunny day and then BOOM !!

we cant cope with a few inches of snow in this country never mind stuff like that, hope it goes quite for the people nearby, woulnt like to be in anything like that.

There are that many of the things over there that it's as if NZ is just the cap of 1 big volcano, it's a chain reaction that is least needed, all along the rim of fire like running a stone along a roll of caps. That would affect us as well as the globe goes dark because of ash.

imagine if that happened it would be like living in manchester, gloom and dirty ash rain every day, nature earthquakes ,tital waves scare the life out of me it dosnt matter what you do they contol if you live or die , nothing you do makes a diffrence if it goes off, horrible situation for anyone caught in the way.

That's why they call them the ' Shakey Isles '

Lake Taupo...kaboom, 1500ad
Rangatoto...nothing there then approx 1400ad kaboom and anew Island appears

Wellington the fault line runs right through the city

with a bit of luck the Parliament at the beehive will be in session when it slides into the harbour
