Passing on the very sad news that my good friend passed away on holiday with his friends on Monday, July 1st 2013.
He was involved in a tragic accident after drinking too much on a cruise ship. Chris fell to his death from the 8th floor deck onto the 4th floor deck below.
Chris was an Account Executive at Oracle, he and I have worked together for over a year now and recently concluded a $400,000 deal with one of my clients.
I know none of you know him, but he was a good lad. Friendly, funny, smart and I will certainly miss him! He was one of the good guys and I had high hopes he and I would remain friends for a long time - which as I'm still relatively new to the US - is something I don't have a whole lot of right now.
