Chris Houghton Sacked

A gent, and a favourite of mine when he played for Ireland. I'm sure he will pick up another post soon enough.

I agree that he's a good bloke. I don't like that he'll get another job soon, though. It's incredibly annoying how the Premier League is effectively an old boys network, with failed manager constantly getting jobs whenever one crops up. It's an insult to all the hard-working, innovative managers in the Football League.

Embarrassing decision to sack him, though. Totally pointless.

Unless you mean in England, in which case you're probably right.

Guardiola wasnt Rjikaard's no.2 (Henk ten Cate was IIRC), he was the reserve team manager.

Norwich fans were getting more and more sick of him with each passing week.

Dire and negative football and if they lose to Fulham this weekend, will most likely go down due to their run in.

Seems like a weird time to sack a man. He probably deserved to be sacked at the end of the season if they stayed up given that they are so negative and Norwich never really played that way. If you are a smaller club you can't miss on your big signings and they did.

its crunch time on saturday,

Lose against fulham and they are relegated, no question.

They play chelsea, liverpool, united arsenal for the rest of the season. clearly they are going down.
