Player Valuation: £8m
Bolasie, price tag or not, is not an elite player yet. Koeman wants him to score 10 goals a season. He has all the skill in the world but it's a team game, attacking and defending.

Deulofeu, not as much pace, but a lovely cross and technique on him. Fitness questions, but can finish and has not had much of a look-in for a long while now.

Lennon, pace to burn, seems to always play well but is not being given a chance. Can't be played on the left like Mirallas or Bolasie though. Total right-winger.

Mirallas, can play on the left or right, but is 29 now and all of his potential seems to be being wasted through not finding him a consistent role in the team.

Dowell, we all saw his potential last year in the second-string. He could be our new Sheedy on the left-side if given a chance. I'm including him because he proved he can play in the first-team in Unsworth's Norwich win at the end of last season. He should be fast-tracked to the first-team in any role imo.

Not including Henen even though he has pace because it's unrealistic. Not including Cleverley because erm. This issue needs to be addressed by Koeman.

Bolasie is trying harder than most of our midfielders to influence a game, and I'm glad the voters are showing that. It seems we need a left-winger. Koeman said Bolasie was one of the best wingers in the league and he was not wrong. This is Koeman speaking, not some no-mark. Bolasie is better than Warzycha, Nevin, Stuart, Arteta on the wing, or most of the wingers we've had in the past 20 years including the mighty Kevin Kilbane. Mock away though! It's fun to offer no support to some of our best players, isn't it?

I don't think anyone of them are consistently good enough, though all have their moments, Bolasie more so than Mirallas and Deulofeu these days. Both Mirallas and Deulofeu have regressed since the first Martinez year. Bolasie can be especially maddening to watch though.

Lennon has not done much for months, nor has he had the chance to. I don't really rate him - but he tries hard, or at least, runs around a lot.

Dowell - I defer to the coaching staff, which actually watches him play readily. I'm not going to project anything on to him.

So although I'm usually reluctant to throw money at problems, I think competition from another winger - ideally who can play both positions - would help to get the best out of what we have, especially since we can apparently afford one.
