Used to love the Yuet Ben. I'm fairly sure that is still going.

Lau's in Sefton Park was fabulous too - no idea if it is still there. I had a flat in the building next door so quite often used to go there for my tea (oh the joys of being young free single and with money to burn!)

Yeah I've eaten there (Yuet Ben) before, it is a good one. Still going. Never been to Lau's though.

Mad how the Chinese can rock up to a city, create their own distinct district, name it Chinatown with all their own cultural iconography and architecture and everyone loves it.

Not many nations in the world that could manage that.
Wait till they've pinched all our footballers.

The Americans do it, it's called Disneyland.
