Hey well travelled people of GOT, need a bit of travel advice.

I'm off to China next week for 2 months, working along the south and east coast (guangzhou, xiamen, shenzen, zhongshan, zhuhai, shanghai, tianjin, qingdao and bejing).

Anyone been? @the esk I'm looking at you. Any tips? They get the footy over there right?

A South African mate of mine lived in Shanghai for three years and mostly enjoyed it, often wore a face mask though like they do in Tokyo to combat the air pollution.

I've been to Guangzhou pronounced (Hang Jao), its smoggy and very warm. I didn't get to see much outside the technology parks but the parts i did see involved beers, food.

Be careful if you're approaching the Hu Lao gate and you haven't levelled up appropriately. Lu Bu appears and he will destroy you.

There's a nice little island on the river in Guangzhou, I forget the name but it has a nice colonial feel about the place. Nice to walk around.
