Childbirth

With our second I found it hard to concentrate on what is supposed to be a beautiful moment because my Mrs sh!t at the same time as the baby came out (common I'm told) and it absolutely wreaked.

Had tears in my eyes but didn't have the heart to tell her it was cos I felt like I'd been pepper sprayed.
Twins then?

I've witnessed 2 births. First one was a nightmare, our son was face to pubes (wrong way round) and had swallowed the amniotic fluid from the sack that surrounds the baby. It got touch and go for a while and a specialist was called for. He took one look at my missus and took a scalpel from front to back, got the ventouse (sp) and literally sucked our son out by the head. He was immediately taken from us, had tubes put down into his lungs to clear the fluid and was only brought back after a half-hour of panic. In the meantime Mrs. cT had to endure somewhere around 30 stitches to her nether regions, but forgot all the pain when we were eventually presented with the boy.

Our daughter on the other hand, slipped out in a couple of hours, but to be fair, it was a bit like the Mersey Tunnel down there after the first one.

And this is why I won't out us through by it again, the mums are just delivery vessels. I remember my missus walking and literally in bloody steps.

It's a real nightmare, that are responsible and starring in.

It feckin hurts!! I had an epidural that failed 3 hours later. 3 days of labour. And I had to deliver Ava with no pain relief in the end. You should all give your wives an extra cuddle for going through the most painfull thing in the world to give you your beautiful children.
