Child benefit income cap criticised by mother whose household income tops Â£100k

Families with one parent earning more than Â£50,000 will no longer be eligible for full child benefit from Monday.
Journalist Angela Epstein has four children and a family income of more than Â£100,000.
Speaking to BBC Radio 2's Jeremy Vine, she said she feels entitled to benefit, despite an income well over the new threshold.

People that have an income of that much and believe they still need/should get benefits have most probably never been in a situation were they actually do need benefits in their life.

Get her to apply for a crisis loan.. See what excuse she can come up with !
If she gets approved.. Keep the benefits..

I personally don't believe you need benefits if you earn upwards of 50k a year....... but that's just me.

I wouldn't class myself as 'needy'.. my definition.. No money for food..
I get the mentioned benefit, but I would be around Â£500 a month better off unemployed.
