Then how come there is no difference in the Rugby? Do you not consider yourself Irish? I went to college with some Belfast girls who never considered themselves Northern Irish, they were Irish.

I hold a British passport, so i consider myself British or Northern Irish. Unfortunately it is all down to the age old thing here of religion. The majority of Catholics call themselves Irish, and Protestants British or Northern Irish.

As for the rugby? I have no idea how that works?

Does it really matter though about religion? And trying not to get bog down with it cos its not really allowed here - but saying you are not religious, does it then matter? or is it down to your family and are you inclined to keep inline with your parents views?
