Is Chevy a popular brand in the UK?
Just seems like a strange mismatch to me (and an expensive one for taxpaying americans who still own most of the company from the financial bailout).

Manchester United have more fans in China than they do in the UK, they are a global brand, so the popularity of Chevrolet in the UK doesn't really seem relevant.
