I can’t believe I am writing this but in many ways Goshen was the most impressive horse we saw at Cheltenham lol

He reminded me of a horse called Golden Cygnet who won the Supreme in a hack canter circa 1978 and looked destined to reign supreme in the hurdle division but a fall at the last in the Scottish Champion Hurdle at Ayr next time out, when he was cruising to victory, cost him his life.

It was the most impressive mate. Just a freak incident caused the fall so can easily be forgiven for that. The high cruising speed and extra acceleration shown when pulling away was scarily impressive. I’m excited for goshen.

This is that Golden Cygnet I mentioned.

A very similar type of performance to Goshen yesterday.
