Anyone on here going this year? I'll be going on Tuesday (coronavirus permitting) for the 8th year in row, love the place!

Whilst I know a little about horses I wouldn't say I'm that knowledgeable.

Any tips/fancies I should be backing this year? :coffee:

On Delta Work mainly and frodon

horses that never let down for me. Loved the frodon win last year.

Got the Wednesday, Thursday and Friday off work for it. Cant wait

Love Frodon! That lovely horse has won me lots of money over the years!

Briony Frost and Frodon really do seem to have a connection, it was amazing watching them win last year and a tad emotional. Would love to see them win the Ryanair again this year but I don't think it will happen sadly....Hope I'm wrong!

I hope Willie sends Benie Des Dieux to the Stayers Hurdle rather than the Mares.

Good race in prospect, Benie and Paisley Park.

Wonder if @Eggs will put some tips up for us all?

...my last two festivals have been great and I was happy to put up the winner of the first last year. I’ve already had lots of bets, my aim being to have big prices for 3 in each race that are now much shorter. Its so difficult finding winners when every horse has been trained for the day.

Favourite week of the year.

....other than Placepots and a Exactas, I’ll not be having much of a bet this week because I’ve been building an ante-post portfolio for most of the year. Small stake on big prices, lots of fun for me now that I’m retired.

First race (Supreme) I have; Asterion Forlonge @ 50-1 (win only), Shishkin @ 33-1 e/w, Abacadabras @ 14-1 and Berkshire Royal @ 100-1. This is Cheltenham, though, and I might not get a return but a winner would be a good start.

Notebook for the Arkle @ 25-1 but no strong view. My main interest for the Champion Hurdle was Saldier but it’s injured, but I have Supasundae e/w @ 40-1 and Sharjah @ 33-1. Difficult to see past Benie Des Dieux in the Mares, I have a single interest in Elfile @ 33s.

I was chuffed to get 150-1 (backed it again @40-1) for Springfield Fox a few months ago, it’s now got a real chance in the NH Chase. I’ve got 22-1 for Carefully Selected in the same race. Kildisart @ 33-1 in the Ultima would pay for my week but I fear the ground might have gone against it. Hold the Note @ 20s in the Northern Trust would be a welcome winner.

i won’t list everything I have, but later in the week I’m looking forward to Repetitio @ 28-1 if it gets in the Boodles, Bob Mahler @ 20-1 in the Kim Muir and my old favourite Mohaayed @ 50-1 in the County. Chuffed to have 66-1 for Latest Exhibition, he’s as tough as they come for the Albert Bartlett. Really nice prices for 3 in the Mares Novice and plenty in the handicaps. Loads of very small stake doubles with mega returns if one of those were to go in.

These are not tips, just part of my mega-portfolio. I wouldn’t encourage backing any I mention. Virtually everything that runs will be having a right go.

A week in the pub for me. Good luck to you all.

Unlike in the US where they have just arrested and charged LOADS of trainers, vets etc. with serious doping offences. Big names too.

And I'm not surprised in the slightest.

Sounding more promising for Altior to run, but you need to be bang on to win a Queen Mother and that injury must have set the horse back quite a bit ?
