Valente

Fantastic game last afternoon. But I got so p***ed by Valente. Couldn't pass a ball to his team mates. When he came to Everton, he boosted the team with some good games, but now he's just a squad player. Does that mean that the team has progressed while Valente hasn't ? Are the team on a higher level now - I think so....in Moyes we trust

Valente has been outstanding in the last 2 games maybe its competition for places that he needed all the better for us.
Just a note on hibbert played well yesterday he does a lot better when he does,nt have to attack when we are at home and go for it a bit more his head gets scrambled with his attacking duties and he makes mistakes but when we go to defend he seems to do a lot better.

I,m glad some others agree about Hibbo, he played great yesterday, give credit when its due. Too many people kick the lad, that is easy to do as he will make mistakes but we must also help him get his confidence going so when he does play well say it

I have to admit mate hibbert has been awful this season up to the last 2 games he did play well yesterday but i would prefer jags or neville there and in neville,s case to keep him out of the midfield

Great, great goal by Tim and absolutely important it's at 90th! But i was really impressed by the Lescott display!!! what a wonderful match! 2 great saves, in the first half, from Howy... and one from Hibbo too, inthe second! Good share of spoils, whit "King Mikel" and AJ out...

Well done, BOYS!

Interesting take on Hibbert because I've kinda noticed the same thing.

He plays a blinder when away to Chelsea, Arsenal, Man U, etc...

I guess it's the level of competition and that he only concerns himself with defending in those matches.

You might be right there

A well deserved point, makes the International break that much more bearable.
Confidence is sky high now, i reckon some team is going to get a hammering soon, 5-0 or 6-0, hopefully Sunderland.

Haha, sound good to me we certainly didn't score enough against Derby, we could make it up against Sunderland!

Now the England match is over, where is the Thread for the Sunderland match?
