Chelsea Sham charges

Whereas a financial punishment could discourage others from following the rules as long as they only tell you a few years later.

As with PSR and the precedent that has been set, if you've gained points (doesn't have to be demonstrable) by cheating, then it should be points that are taken off you.

Their player merry-go-round is an ongoing scandal, once it started the maelstrom enveloped all it touched, so the scheme is applicable to those signed and sold this summer as the crime is one long-con. To facilitate this financial whirlwind it seems chelsea have utilised a stable of very friendly agents to keep that business going. That seems to be where the grey area of behaviour is.

Cheat to get to where they are, then pull the drawbridge up so other clubs struggle to compete via legitimate means. No matter the punishment they receive, it would be rectified in a year or so at max and they’d be back to where they are. Them and City are scum clubs enabled by passive bloater supporters.

Only skim read it so missed that.

However, still annoying that that’s the media’s first line of defence, as it was with others, yet I don’t seem to recall the media clamour to not impose a ‘sporting punishment’ when it was us.

Yes you must of heard, "you can't punish the fans !" Oh sorry that was for the Super league breakaway clubs fans. ... It made no difference punishing the Everton / Forest fans.

This will be a load of bs. They’ll go on and on about self reporting and former owners blah blah as mitigating circumstances and get a fine that will sound a lot but in-fact will be nothing to them. I couldn’t give a toss about self reporting etc. we got points deducted for far less and any punishment should be scaled up from that. What happened under Abramovich set that club up to where they are today including this cheating, they were on the verge of going under until he came.

My cousin self reported that a solicitor in his business was committing a crime, knowing that he, as owner of the business would be culpable. He spent time in prison for that.

How is this different?

Having said that, this shows that the league clearly has its favourites and biases and makes up the rules as they go along ... as if we didn't know.

Chelsea are arguing there was no "sporting advantage" to them signing Hazard, Willian and Eto'o.

In the case of Hazard, isn't he considered by their fans to be one of their greatest ever?

Also, would Eto'o "flopping" hold up in a court of Law? Isn't it subjective?
