flying from Finland to Chelsea game next week! What is the best place (atmosphere) close to Goodison to have our pre-match (breakfast) pints? Thanks fellow-blues!

if your after a breakfast the tomas frost(weatherspoons) walton rd, do it cheap, it gets a few in and if you dont like it or get fed up you have loads of other pubs within minutes of it, dark house, elm tree, bradleys and most of the others metioned are about 5 or ten minute walk

Best breakfast in Liverpool in my opinion is in Pogue Mahones on Seel Street. If you're staying in the city centre I'd go there early for some scran and a few pints and then get a cab up to one of the pubs mentioned above. The Oak is my choice but that's just because I'm a lazy [Poor language removed] and it's only a Phil Jagielka hoof away from the Park End.
