Chelsea’s long contracts

Bedfordblue

Player Valuation: ¥50m
All the other Chelsea threads seem to have locked, but looks like their strategy might have back fired with Mudryk.
I expect provided he maintains his innocence, cites an inadvertent ingestion (assuming it’s not a team wide programme) they will struggle to sack him on breach of contract.

Chelsea will have better lawyers and will no doubt sue him like they did Mutu back in the day.

He'll be out that contract
IMO I think it will be harder to prove than a cocaine result.
The compound has been proven to be found in milk and other dairy products, so a bit easier to claim accidental.
Nb I’m not suggesting he’s innocent btw

Yeah the two are miles apart in terms of reason. But its similar in that the club will/did get the contract torn up.

Bohley will do it. Ive said in other threads, its been written he already feels he can cancel these long contracts like they do in the NFL within grounds to do so.

Just wait to see when this window closes and what happens to the likes of Sterling etc on £200k a week who wont leave.

No way the rest of the league allow it, if the fa and associated clowns let clubs rip up contracts as easy as that, the next thing that happens is players do similar. It'll be anarchy.

Gross misconduct if charges proven.
Sackable offence in most jobs I'd suspect.
Be out on his arse.

Players have a lot more power in our game than in the NFL where the owners run the show and if they feel they will do better in another city they move their team.

They found a way to spend £2billion in 3 years and be untouchable by jumping through loop holes.

Guarantee they've put clauses in those 7 year deals to pull the plug for some reason.
