Cheese on Toast, which part of this culinary delight is most important ?

For me, it's the cheese. The toast is mostly there to stop the chèese getting out of control. I do like a nice bit of toasted wholemeal granary though.

Home made mate, Waitrose hasn't made it to Chorley yet.

I add a pinch of oregano freshly picked from the garden to help bring out the flavours.

Toasted and then dunked in olive oil is lovely.
