if he wins the retrial it will get messy

I think that even if he does win the retrial, I can't see him getting back into football really. He's been out of the game for too long at this point

What he may do is use the retrial result to go and start suing people, should it go the way he wants it to

A lot of people went into him very hard after the original conviction, so you could be right about it getting messy

couldn't blame him Mikey if he did ruined his life really if he hasn't done it.
27 might get a season or two in , if he is lucky and somebody takes a chance on him, like you say a bit old maybe to get up to a decent level

Many of those people laid into him whilst he was a convicted criminal. Not sure he'd have grounds to sue if he gets off on retrial.

If it does come out that he was in fact innocent in the re-trial then it should be held up as testament to the "Social Media" jury who are willing to convict a person without knowing any of the facts!

Too often now it happens and public opinion no matter what people say, can have a serious influence on the outcome of these things.

The Kesha situation has had me rolling my eyes too. #FreeKesha and all that, without a scrap of evidence.

Jokers.
