Not sure if anyone else noticed this but saw a tweet from Charles Sale saying that Peter Ridsdale met with Bill Kenwright last week acting as a go between for a potential buyer. Before anyone gets too excited/despondent (delete as appropriate), it says the talks did not progress!
Peter Ridsdale is not someone who I would like to see associated with Everton FC in any capacity.

NO,NO,NO would not want anything to do with anything or anyone with any connection to Ridsdale, how he is allowed to go near any football club is beyond me!

Just part and parcel of the media message this week: 'Bill's doing somersaults trying everything to sell the club...honest.'

Jesus. Almost gave me a heart attack. ****ing Peter Risdale FFS. If that's the kind of person Kenwright is approaching I'd rather he didn't bother at all. Risdale should never be allowed near any football club ever again.

 funny post and very true

while generally I'm a fence sitter in regards to all the BU/protest stuff I don't want that shady football club raping mofo Ridsdale anywhere near our club. [Poor language removed] off Ridsdale. You are not welcome or wanted in L4.

You should treat everything that every media person ever says with a degree of caution, and this is no different. The name Peter Ridsdale provokes a typical reaction amongst football supporters. Amply demonstrated in this thread (and rightly so), however we do not know the source of this information, and whether it's true. Organisations have long used the media to achieve their goals - and this *may* simply be a deliberate non-truth to swing favour back towards the club in the pendulous 'To Bill or Not to Bill' argument.

It could, also, be true.

Is this the club's new angle? Bring up even worse owners than we all ready have as potential buyers to promote their "better the devil you know" agenda?

I like it.

If Ridsdale brings a potential buyer to the table, what's the harm? It's not as if he's buying the club, or Everton wouldn't go through a vetting process.
