The Alex will host a Family football fun day and Charity Football match on Sunday 20th May in support of The Motor Neuron Disease Association
We are pleased to announce that we will be holding a Charity
Football Match in aid of Motor Neuron Disease Association (Clwyd Branch) on Sunday 20th May with the game kicking off at 2.30 pm.
Steve Hammill (Mold Alex Events Manager) explained "We have chosen the charity to commemorate the life of Russ Jones a local footballer who tragically died of Motor Neuron Disease earlier this year. The match will be the climax of what we hope will be a great fun day for all the family
which will also include a fair and a family football fun session".

A team of Mold Alex Vets will take on a team of Everton and Chester
ex professionals who will include in their ranks, Tony Kay (Everton and England),John Bailey (Everton and Newcastle) along with ex Chester pros Alan Tarbuck, Grenville Millington,Eddie Bishop, Greame Abel,Karl Ruffer
with the team being managed by ex Chester Manager Ken Roberts.

Liverpool comedian Hal Nolan will be MC for the game and the day will
also include fair ground rides for the children and a morning of Family football fun starting at 10am.
Admission price to the game will be £3 for Adults £1 Oap's.
