My lad started this season by missing his Sunday Youth team matches when Everton were at home on a Sunday. He now prefers to play for his local team rather than watch Everton on Sunday afternoons. I did the same in the early 90's and opted to play in the I Zingari league on Saturday afternoons rather than suffer the abysmal Everton performances at that time. I put his season ticket up on StubHub for the Burnley match for £10 and nobody wanted it!! There were hundreds of unsold tickets all around the ground for less than face value. A little different to the start of the season when you literally 'couldn't buy a ticket' for Everton v Stoke!!
