After last night's game and the recent run we have been on, I seriously think Martinez need's to have a good hard luck at the team and make a lot of changes.
Starting with the old deadwood, I'd drop Barry, he's just too slow, great with the ball at his feet, but is so slow when chasing back it's embarrassing, drop Howard (Nah, never gonna happen!!).
Leave Stones out for a few weeks, his head has gone.....
Thoughts??

Drop Barry????

Mods, can we go back to the previous regime when we weren't allowed to start threads please?

Cant agree on Barry, he is slower than me, but without him i shudder to think how porous our midfield would have been this season! Fully agree with you regarding changes, but that is Roberto's number one flaw, his ego! To make radical changes would be tantamount (in his mind) to admitting to failure andhis ego would never allow that. I know lots of Wigan lads all of whom are saying the worse the results, the more he digs in and refuses to budge! I think the fallout from last nights failure will only be seen at the end of this season, when the cream of the team demand transfes and we go back to bottom half mediocrity being the norm! For all his beautiful football, i truly think Roberto has set us back five years this season :(
