So, I have to hate Barca, because there are some pics of Steven Gerrard celebrating Barca's win floating around on Twitter and the internet?

Yeah, definetely despise Barca now, because of that, while desperately trying to erase memories of that picture which shows him in an Everton kit. Don't want to start hating Everton here afterall.

Sorry mate, but I refuse to accept, that in order to show my allegiance to and love for Everton, I have to support Man Utd when they play Barcelona.

Bit far fetched for me, and I definetely don't 'Get it'.

That really wasn't the issue mate. It just so happened to be Barcelona playing United - the issue was that another CL win would have sent the Kopites spiralling into depression, but all some blues could think of was wanting United beaten.

Agree that we're not getting any further with this. Just have a different outlook on this issue. I know what the issue originally was, but this one and the other threads got dragged all over the show. Let's just agree to disagree on it. Saves us both a lot of hassle.(y)
 
Wanting United to fail does mean you're a kopite. I was so back and forth in the champions league final I just decided that I didnt care who won.
