Brilliant performance from Ashley Cole and Gary Cahill. Bosingwa was also surprisingly good and John Obi Mikel had a stormer in the first half.

Terry lifting the cup was grim, though. I'd understand if he'd got two yellows for attempted tackles or dragged somebody down last man to help the team, but it was his own stupidity which got him suspended. Why should he be able to lift the cup after that?
