It all points in favour of Bayern; they even have the home dressing room. But will all the pressure to win the biggest prize in club football prove too much for them ? They certainly have the quality to do it with the likes of Ribery, Robben and Gomez in their side. They have a few suspensions, but surely Chelsea's will affect them more with Terry, Ivanovich, Ramires and Meireles all out plus they have a few injury concerns as well.

After 2005 anything is possible, but I'll go for Bayern to edge it in a nervy game.

3-2 to Bayern. I can't see Chelsea not scoring, not because Bayern have a poor defence, but because Bayern have a more varied attacking game and are better defensively than Barcelona it would not make sense for Chelsea to sit back. So , plenty of goals, I'm sure Lampard will get a deflected one but will count for nothing in the end.

Was elated that Chelsea beat Barca and admittedly they have a few likable players on the pitch when Whites Only isn't playing CB. However Chelsea represents all that I hate about footie. They are no different than City.

I'm torn.

I don't want Spurs in Europe, I don't want Chelsea to win the CL, I do want Di Matteo to do well, I don't want John Terry to lift the cup, I do want Pienaar to have one less reason to stay at Spurs, I do want to see another positive turning point for modern German football.

Torn, like a James Vaughan knee ligament.
