We don't do a "quiet couple" in New Zealand. You have one, you have 12, pretty much the unwritten rule.

I've drunk some horrendous amounts of booze on 15 hour sessions, and so glad I can't do that anymore due to my health.

Blimey. Last, (only) times I have had them is my stag do, and a few rugby outings at Twickenham.

We have a few days like it mate, FA Cup night is the worst, because the game is on at 4am we can start around 1pm after our own game, get a bit sleepy by time the birds start singing lol

Xmas day is a boozefest too.

Then there's the summer, laying on the beach all day and evening. We have a pretty good life over here, the sheep are a bonus.

It does sound ace. Have a young Kiwi as a client, and he would go back tomorrow if he could. But with kids, soon to be ex wife, and a thriving business, he literally cant do it.

Saying that, if you're in your early twenties, Europe is the place to be, you can see why there's so many kiwis and Aussies over there, NZ is awesome but it's not lively, great place to raise a family, have a good core group of friends and enjoy life. Saturday nights rarely extend past a walk down to the bars and leaning on them, no garys or mental raves around here.

Maybe that's why we're good drinkers, there's little else to do on a Saturday night than park your arse on the bar stool and down them.

He is early/mid 20's. Like loads, came over, met a girl, got into business, before he knew it, is fixed here for 15 to 20 years I guess.

Good lad. He'll come home and raise a family in time I guess, I know I would, such a triffic place to bring up kids, well certain areas anyway, hasn't been a murder or even an aggrevated robbery in years in my town.

He is brilliant. Remember in Fred Truemans biog that he found Kiwis the polar opposite to Aussies, but they would be your friend for life. Martin Johnson said similar after he spent a year or two down there.

It appeals to me, thats for sure.
