Jags gets blamed for everything!! Haha.... Without excelling at being a ball playing defender which of course he's not, I think Jags has adapted pretty well really. He did fine last season and he "on his own" is certainly not the reason for our slump this season!
Chelsea don't just lump it long from defence, they also play out from the back with JT who is even more uncomfortable on the ball than jags!
The outballs to midfield have disappeared with no barkley central and pienaar wide. And McCarthy's absence so much of the season has put extra pressure on the defence. Roberto has clearly also tried to up this tika taka rubbish from the back, which tbf if he wants to go all out playing from the back he needs 2 new CB's. But so would nearly every team in the PL!!
