Looking at going for the weekend with the other half and the baby (8 months old)

Would it be a good place to go with a baby? How expensive is it once your in there?

ive been to the one in Nottingham. It's really good but very expensive.

Cumbria is ace mate, it's boss to unplug from society too. Defo recommended.

Went to Longlete. was absolutely brilliant, but is isnt cheap. That said, with an 8mth old, you can go outside school holidays, so maybe not so bad. They have babysitters available so you and the missus can have a night out. If they have a spa there, they have clothing "optional" nights. Me and the then Mrs R nearly got caught out!

Not very expensive inside btw. The supermarket is, but the restaraunt a are about average.

Take all ya shopping with ya, you will get stung otherwise.

Yeah, like Bry says, I meant the cost of booking the lodges are pretty steep. Once you are there, its pretty good value.

I've looked at it a few times but only have the option of school holidays so it starts to get really expensive, have heard nothing but good things from friends that have been though and like someone said you don't have to rely on school holidays with an 8 month old.

Precisely, get as many holidays in as you can before your kids start school!

Some of my best memorys as a kid were at centre parcs. They're building one near me actually. Not sure if its finished yet.
