Ok, there's a fair bit of Old Firm talk here which is leading, as always, to orange v green - we'll be leaving all association between football and religion out now thanks.
Neither Merseyside club has a religious connection and if they want to do that in Glasgow, let them.
We may have had a large Catholic following in the past but that makes us (Evertonians) no more Catholic than Bhuddist. We also had a large Protestant following.
Neither St. Domingo or St. Luke's are Catholic churches, in fact the club was born out of a Welsh Methodist church which is neither Protestant nor Catholic.
Frankly, if you're picking a football team based on religion you're failing at life.
It always ends badly so leave that one out lads.
I asked for religious discussion to stop.Groucho,
The last time I looked, Methodism was a Protestant faith....and I think you used this incorrect argument before if my memory serves me well.
As for the thread, the ban is pretty severe and would seem to indicate that the SFA is convinced of his guilt. Strange therefore that Celtic are standing up for a player who is only on loan to them.
