Celtic or Rangers?

To clarify, I meant fans, not the actual club itself.

To clarify, you might want to consider the possibility that Rangers fans have a much closer affinity with loyalist terrorism than your average Celtic fan does with anything on the republicanism side.

For many on the green side of the fence the tension/aggression about the situation in Northern Ireland eased off in the late 90s with a devolved assembly and power sharing.

By the same token, tension and aggression is only increasing on the red, white and blue side as one by ones its British icons are dismantled (flags this year, place names next year etc).

All this will only increase as birthrates, immigration and normality increases.

Absolute tosh.

Elements of the Celtic support are just as bad as elements of the Rangers support. This holier than thou attitude is ridiculous.

Errm, I didn't, and never have, suggested anything different.

Are loyalist 'sympathisers' not just as bad?

Yes and to be honest lot's of Celtic and Rangers fans have no connection to terrorist organisations or should i say criminal organisations that use the Irish/British flag to cover up their criminal activities!

I've never understood the difference. Is it that one believes Jesus was god itself, and the other believes that jesus was only a man who happened to be the son of god? or am i getting one of them confused with judaism?

The way I heard it, the Protestants were going around saying something bad about the virgin Mary. Don't know what type of bad [Poor language removed] you'd have to be to slander the mother of God. Hope Celtic smash them like.

Years ago Everton used to have the St Edward's orphanage band do the music at HT at Goodison one week, then the Sally Army band the next week...just to ensure even handedness and keep the peace probably.
