Reading rumours on a few sites that Celtic are in talks to join the Dutch League.

Sounds a bit too random to me.

No mate but I'm swerving the Scottish tabloid media just now so I'm badly out of touch.

If they do go, and Rangers go to the wall, it'll make my summer. Promote the top 4 from the first division, go to a 16 team league, cap ticket prices at £10 for adults, £5 for kids and you'd have a healthy, competitive league with almost full stadiums week in week out.

Nothing major, Easyjet flights to Amsterdam probably cost less than petrol to Inverness and back.

Plenty of teams play in other countries leagues. Derry City, Wellington Pheonix, Vancouver Whitecaps, Berwick Rangers, Swansea City, Vaduz etc, etc.
