Carragher: Season XII - The Final Ignominy - Out Now

Comedian Jamie returns for another season of Highs but Mostly Lows, Comings and Goings, Triumphs and Disasters as the Red Men set out to once again dominate the Premier League('s middle third).

With Fernando (Sacha Baron Cohen) making fleeting guest appearances and featuring cameos from various non-entities Season XII promises to be as exciting as the Rollercoaster Beachball Adventure of Season XI.

The Boss is now played by Woy Hodgson after the previous (fatter) Boss was killed off at the end of Season XI after one misadventure too many in Cafe Rouge et Merdre.

Look out for Dem Bad Guys scheduled to reappear a couple of times in the series probably at a couple of glamorous away days in Sunny Europe.

This hilarious comedy series has new actor Joke Hole (Chavs in The City, East End Academy, Capello - The IndexMeister) joining in the fun - replacing Yossi Crack (East End Academy, Chavs in The City, Have I got Jews for You).

Also features the protracted departures of Emmanuel Insewer, Mashed Potato Man, The Mysterious Benefactor, The Syrian Gun Runner, Dirk Kuty, Kebabface, Darby and Johnson

When Torres gets another injury that keeps him out of half their games, they're dead. I'd love to see their stadium half empty when they are out of even Europa contention and all the Norwegians and Londoners don't pay up to come to the game.

TBH I think they could actually do quite well this year - if they get dumped out of the Europa early on, and have good luck with injuries (ie: Torres stays fit) they will play a lot fewer games than the CL sides, and less than everyone else (apart from us) at the top end. Add to that the fact that Rafael and his tactical genius has left the building, the apparent failure of any of the top sides to significantly strengthen their squads, this new 25-players thing and the result might well be that they end up at least in the top four, if not higher.

I think there's a very low likelihood of that happening. Worst I see them doing is 10th. When you have Gerrard, Torres, & Reina as the spine of your team, you're still gonna wins some games.
